Last night, the highly anticipated Superboys of Malegaon had its special screening in Mumbai, attracting a crowd of Bollywood stars and industry heavyweights. Among those who showed up were Mihir Ahuja, Fardeen Khan, Vedang Raina, Khushi Kapoor, Arhaan Khan, Alizeh Agnihotri, Javed Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, Agastya Nanda, Dimple Kapadia, Shibani Dandekar, and many others, all adding their flair to the event.

Directed by Reema Kagti, Superboys of Malegaon tells the inspiring story of Nasir Shaikh and other amateur filmmakers from the small town of Malegaon, India. This film, inspired by the 2008 documentary Supermen of Malegaon, dives into the journey of these filmmakers as they create their own superhero flicks, often working with limited resources but overflowing with passion.

The film made its debut in the Gala section at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival on September 13, 2024, where it was met with an enthusiastic response. With its theatrical release set for February 28, 2025, Superboys of Malegaon is poised to charm audiences with its unique narrative and a glimpse into a vibrant yet lesser-known filmmaking culture.

Featuring Adarsh Gourav, Vineet Kumar Singh, Shashank Arora, Anuj Singh Duhan, and Riddhi Kumar in prominent roles, the film has already caught attention for its daring storytelling and the heartfelt performances of its cast.
