On September 19, a bizarre incident took place as Salman Khan's father and veteran writer Salim Khan received a threat during his morning walk. A man and a burqa-clad woman tried to scare him by taking Lawrence Bishnoi's name. New to the development, the two accused were arrested by the Mumbai Police. 

Accused duo arrested for threatening Salman Khan's father Salim Khan

A while ago, ANI tweeted that Mumbai Police arrested the two people who threatened Salman Khan's father, Salim Khan during his morning walk. The police also confirmed that when they interrogated the arrested duo, they said that they were "just having fun". 

The tweet read, "The accused threatened Salim Khan in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi while Salim Khan was on a morning walk and the accused tried to impress his woman friend, Salim Khan's bodyguard complained about this to the police. Bandra Police has arrested the accused. When the police interrogated both of them, they said that they were just having fun: Mumbai Police"

More about the threat

India Today reported that a man and a burqa-clad woman approached Salim Khan on a scooter and tried to scare him using Lawrence Bishnoi's name. The woman allegedly told the veteran writer, "Should I send Lawrence Bishnoi?" while he was sitting on a bench. 

Meanwhile, Salman Khan's convoy was followed by a 21-year-old man. The incident took place at 12:15 am, between Monday (16th September) night and early Tuesday (17th September). When the superstar was returning to his Galaxy Apartment in Bandra with his convoy, a motorist approached his car at high speed. Even though, the security officials initially moved him away. the man again tried to approach Salman's car. After that, the security personnel informed the police stationed at Galaxy Apartments.

Regarding this case, an officer said, "Upon receiving the information, the police took swift action and arrested 21-year-old Uzar Faiz Moiyuddin. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Bhaijaan will be seen in Sikandar. Co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, the film is aiming for an Eid 2025 release.
