A burglar, intent on theft, broke into the Mumbai home of Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan. When Khan attempted to confront the intruder in order to safeguard his family, he was stabbed six times, resulting in significant injuries. Two of these wounds were particularly severe, necessitating his immediate transport to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. The police have been actively searching for the perpetrator since the incident, and there were widespread reports suggesting that the primary suspect had been apprehended. However, the police have now clarified that, as of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing of Saif Ali Khan.

A manhunt has been initiated by the Mumbai police across the city in search of the primary suspect. The investigation was aided by CCTV footage, which provided law enforcement with a visual identification of the individual. Reports indicate that the suspect accessed the building through the fire exit staircase to reach the 11th floor, where Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan reside. It was initially believed that the suspect had been apprehended and taken to the Bandra police station for interrogation. Viral videos surfaced showing police officers escorting a man into custody.

However, it has since been clarified that the individual featured in those viral videos is not connected to the stabbing incident involving Saif Ali Khan, and the earlier reports are inaccurate. According to ANI, the police have verified this information. A tweet from the news agency states, “The person brought to Bandra police station for questioning is not related to the Saif Ali Khan Attack Case. No one is detained in Saif Ali Khan Attack Case as of now: Mumbai police.”

Early investigations have determined that the assault was motivated by a desire for theft, with the assailant demanding Rs 1 crore from the actor's family. Last night, Kareena Kapoor released a statement addressing the situation, urging the public to respect the family's need for privacy as they navigate the healing process following this unfortunate incident.

The statement expressed, "Today has been exceptionally difficult for our family, and we are still in the process of coming to terms with the recent events. As we work through this challenging period, I respectfully ask that the media and paparazzi cease their incessant speculation and coverage. While we are grateful for the concern and support, the ongoing scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also present a considerable risk to our safety.
