And actress Janhvi Kapoor, whose mother Sridevi starred in the hit film along with Anil Kapoor, recently gave her reasons for why Mr. India should not be remade.
Janhvi Kapoor doesn't want Mr. India to be remade
In an interview with Pinkvilla while promoting her film Ulajh, Janhvi was asked her opinion on the remake of Mr. India and if she would like to star in it. Surprisingly, Janhvi said that she is completely against the movie being remade.
She shared that a film like Mr. India should not be touched and that filmmakers should leave it alone. She soon became diplomatic and said that it was not her place to comment on the matter, but Janhvi added that the film industry shouldn't force things and meddle with something as "pure" as film like Mr. India.
