Mohanlal has been admitted to the Amrita Institute Of Medical Science, Kochi, due to ill health. As per the latest updates, the Malayalam superstar was admitted after he was diagnosed with fever and breathing issues. The 64-year-old actor, who is back in Kochi after completing the Gujarat shooting schedule of L2 Empuraan and the post-production of his directorial debut Barroz, has been unwell for a couple of days. However, the latest official statement from the medical center confirmed that Mohanlal is recovering well.

Recently, Amrita Institute Of Medical Science released an official statement, revealing Mohanlal’s health condition. The statement confirmed that the superstar is on his road to recovery, leaving the fans and well-wishers relieved. According to the medical team, the L2 Empuraan actor was admitted after he complained of high fever and breathing difficulty, generalized myalgia (muscle pain). The superstar is suspected to have a viral respiratory infection, which might be a cause of fever and other discomforts.

The official statement, which confirms that Mohanlal is on the road to recovery, reveals that he has been advised to take medicines for the fever and infection. The superstar is also advised to take complete rest for five days and is asked to avoid crowded places until he recovers completely. If the recent updates are to be believed, Mohanlal has decided to take a complete break from all his personal and professional commitments for a few days, due to the same.

Mohanlal’s upcoming projects

As per the latest updates, Mohanlal’s directorial debut Barroz, the 3D fantasy film, is gearing up hit the theatres on October 3, 2024. The superstar’s 360th project directed by Tharun Moorthy, which has been tentatively titled L360, is now nearing the final stages of its production. If things go as planned, L360 will hit the theatres in December 2024, or January 2024. Later, Mohanlal will make a comeback to the silver screens in March 2024, with L2 Empuraan, the upcoming Lucifer sequel directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran.
