On Saturday, Cyrus posted a touching message along with a picture of her ruined home in Malibu, California. She reflected, “This photo shows my front porch back in 2018 after we lost our house in the Woolsey fires. It’s a feeling that sticks with you. You’d walk up to the door you used to go through every day, excited to see your loved ones, only to find a heap of ash and debris instead.”

She went on to say, “My heart goes out to everyone facing this kind of loss right now, and I’m in tears for my city. It’s truly devastating. Los Angeles is supposed to be about ‘living the dream,’ but today it’s all about destruction and chaos.”

The Wrecked Ball singer wrapped up with, “It’ll take time, resources, and commitment from both our community and beyond to heal, but it’s really painful at the moment… Love always, Miley.” She also included links to organizations she’s supporting as the fires continued to wreak havoc in Los Angeles, including the Malibu Foundation, which she helped establish in 2018, as reported by Page Six.
