2 months ago | 5 Views
Ranveer Allahbadia faced backlash for his inappropriate remarks made during a YouTube episode of India's Got Latent. In response, the YouTuber issued an apology via a video message on Monday. However, numerous viewers expressed their discontent in the comments, criticizing his jokes as offensive and derogatory. Additionally, singer Mika Singh has condemned the show's insensitive content, which he described as rife with abusive language. He emphasized that the audience must ensure that such programs do not receive any viewership.
What Mika Singh said
Mika took to Instagram to share a video message in which he expressed his thoughts on the episode. He stated, "I have also watched this episode. It is quite terrible, filled with very inappropriate language. They can say anything they want. I am certain he has many fans. This show seems to cater exclusively to those who appreciate such content."
'Tum logo ko ye gadhe log nazar nahi aate?'
Mika expressed that he has never participated in shows or podcasts to promote his music. He was quite forthright in criticizing other artists who do engage in such platforms, stating: “There should be someone to put a stop to this… I feel angered when there is a performance by or Diljit Dosanjh, and numerous individuals come to interfere. Do not sing about alcohol at public events; refrain from this and that… Can’t you see these foolish people? Isn’t it your duty, just as you send notices to singers and celebrities, to also address these fools? They have been spouting nonsense for so long. This is your responsibility too.”
In a members-only episode of Samay’s show, India’s Got Latent, Ranveer posed a provocative question to a contestant: "Would you prefer to watch your parents engage in sexual activity every day for the rest of your life or participate once and end it forever?"
The segment quickly gained traction on social media, prompting Ranveer to issue a public apology. A formal complaint has been filed against Allahbadia, comedian Samay Raina, social media influencer Apoorva Makhija, and the show's organizers.
