Mika Singh is a popular singer and music producer, but just before the Covid-19 pandemic hit, he took on the role of a series producer too. He produced a web series called Dangerous, featuring Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover. In a recent interview, Mika described the filming experience as 'horrible' and mentioned that the star couple brought a lot of drama to the set.

The singer shared on the KADAK YouTube channel that he originally planned to cast Karan with a newcomer, but then Bipasha joined the project as well. While this didn’t push the budget over the edge, Mika described the whole experience as “horrible.”

He explained the difficulties, saying, “I brought a team of 50 to London for what was supposed to be a month-long shoot, but it ended up stretching to two months. Karan and Bipasha caused a lot of drama. Since they were married, I booked them a single room, but they insisted on separate rooms. I couldn’t wrap my head around that. They also wanted to switch hotels, which we did.”

Mika pointed out that even though the actors had signed a contract that included a kissing scene, they backed out on the day of filming. “They’re a married couple, yet they made a fuss about kissing on screen. These stars are quick to bow down to big producers like Dharma Productions and Yash Raj Films, showering them with praise for even the smallest roles, but their attitude shifts when it comes to smaller producers. Don’t we deserve some respect too?”

Mika mentioned that he got some advice from big names like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, warning him against becoming a producer and wasting his cash, but he decided to go for it anyway. Dangerous hit MX Player in August 2020 and received mixed reviews. It ended up being canceled after just one season.

Bipasha and Karan first crossed paths while filming the 2015 horror movie, Alone. They got married the next year. On November 12, 2022, they welcomed their little girl, Devi Basu Singh Grover. Karan's most recent role was in the action film, Fighter, while Bipasha's last appearance was in Dangerous.
