Recently, casting rumors have swirled, with influential names being mentioned. However, the latest one will blow your mind—and it's not just speculation, but close to confirmation: Marvel Studios is reportedly eyeing Meryl Streep and is ready to offer her any role she wants.

Yes, you read that correctly. In the past few weeks, we’ve heard reports of MCU bosses approaching industry legends like Robert De Niro and Steven Spielberg to star in and helm projects. But today’s news from Marvel’s casting mill is confirmed by none other than casting director Sarah Halley Finn, who has revealed that the studio has been eyeing Meryl Streep for a while and is eager to see her debut in the MCU.

According to Variety, Sarah Halley Finn was asked during the Agatha All Along premiere who the one actor is that she hasn’t yet cast in a Marvel film but still wants to, and she named Meryl Streep. When asked what role she envisions for her, Finn replied, "Anything she wants." When pressed on whether she has approached Streep, Finn responded, "Maybe." She concluded by saying they haven’t yet found the right role for Streep. If this is indeed a hint, and Marvel is already in talks for a confirmed part for Meryl Streep, it would be a groundbreaking move.

Agatha All Along stars Kathryn Hahn alongside Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, Debra Jo Rupp, Patti LuPone, and Aubrey Plaza. The series premieres with two episodes on September 18, and will continue with one episode every Wednesday until October 25.
