Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor's latest film, Nadaaniyan, has garnered disappointment across the internet. The movie debuted to unfavourable reviews, with particular criticism aimed at the performances of the cast and the so-called 'cringe' dialogues. In a surprising turn, Reddit users have suggested that Meezaan Jafri, who made a cameo in the film, eclipsed Ibrahim with his commanding screen presence.

A Reddit user posted a clip of the song Pag Ghunghroo Bandh Meera from Nadaaniyan, showcasing Meezaan Jafri's special appearance. His entrance evoked memories of Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo in Heyy Babyy. This prompted a discussion regarding the performances of Ibrahim and Meezaan, with many expressing admiration for the latter.

Additionally, Reddit users expressed their dissatisfaction with the song itself. One user remarked, “This is the Gen Z cringe and shady version of the original Ke Pag Ghunghroo Baand Meera Nachi Re. Pathetic.” Regarding Meezaan’s cameo, another user commented, “Wow, Ibrahim is quite a lanky dancer, and Meezaan surpassed him. It’s amusing how they presented Meezaan as if it were a significant star cameo when it’s merely him.”

Some fans of Shah Rukh Khan noted a similarity between Meezaan’s appearance and SRK’s entry in Mast Kalandar from Heyy Babyy. One user observed, “Exactly my thoughts… and also, notice he’s wearing a velvet sherwani. Remember SRK’s entry in Mast Kalandar?” Another added, “It’s reminiscent of SRK’s cameo in Mast Kalandar from Heyy Babyy, but it’s just Meezaan.”

Subsequent comments emerged, with one Reddit user stating, “Meezaan surpassed Ibrahim—that is quite embarrassing.” Another remarked, “Meezaan would have been an excellent choice for the cast. Ibrahim’s dubbing was significantly disappointing.”
