After a super long wait, Kiccha Sudeep fans finally got what they were waiting for. The trailer for the Kannada superstar’s movie Max, which was supposed to drop earlier today, finally hit the internet at 9:30 PM, and people are totally buzzing about the thrilling content.
Kiccha Sudeep's fans are really digging the Max trailer
Sudeep fans are buzzing with excitement over the trailer, calling it “pure mass,” “explosive,” and “mind-blowing,” with some even throwing in “chindi” for good measure. They’re all about Sudeep’s return as Arjun Mahakshay, with many saying, “This is exactly how we wanted to see you, Anna!” After more than two years away, Sudeep is definitely making a comeback. Fans are also hyped about his “psych swag” and “beast mode” look, predicting it’ll light up the theaters like fireworks.
Max is now open for advance bookings
When the trailer came out, advance ticket sales for the December 25 release kicked off, with some single-screen theaters starting Arjun Mahakshay’s showings as early as 6 am. A lot of the shows are already filling up quickly. Distributor Karthik Gowda tweeted earlier that there would be more than 100 early morning screenings at PVR Cinemas across the state.
The Max censor certificate has revealed a key plot point in Kiccha Sudeep’s action drama.
KRG Studios faced criticism when the initial list of theaters for Max was released, with fans arguing that the selected single-screen venues were not up to par for an actor like Sudeep. Most of the top theaters are currently showing Upendra’s UI.
On the bright side, some exhibitors, including DRC Cinemas in Mysuru, Hosur Grand Cinemas, and Big Cinemas in Shivamogga, will be offering early morning shows across all four screens at their locations. Max won’t be launching with inflated ticket prices. Typically, single-screen tickets range from Rs 200 to Rs 300, while multiplex tickets are around Rs 300 to Rs 350, excluding recliner seats.
Max, which marks the directorial debut of Vijay Kartikeyaa and is produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu, features a cast that includes Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sunil, Sharath Lohithashwa, Pramod Shetty, Ugramm Manju, Sukrutha Wagle, Samyukta Hornad, and Sudha Belawadi, among others. The film's music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, who previously worked with Sudeep on Vikrant Rona.
