Singer Mariah Carey’s latest Christmas concert experienced an unforeseen incident when a physical confrontation erupted among certain audience members. The event, recorded on video, has emerged on social media and is rapidly attracting widespread attention.
Fans express intense excitement
According to the New York Post, the altercation occurred while Mariah Carey, aged 55, was concluding her performance of the holiday classic "All I Want for Christmas Is You." A spectator captured the incident on camera, which involved a confrontation between two women—one with blonde hair and the other with curly hair.
The woman with curly hair seemed to shove the blonde woman from behind, prompting the blonde to retaliate by throwing her drink at the curly-haired individual. In response, the curly-haired woman struck the blonde directly in the face. At this moment, a man with dark hair and glasses intervened, placing his arm between the two women to de-escalate the situation.
However, another man with white hair approached the curly-haired woman and began to shout at her, which led the dark-haired man to push the white-haired man away.
Additional details regarding the altercation
After the video being posted on X, previously referred to as Twitter, another concert-goer released a clip capturing their perspective of the incident. The individual asserted that they were “standing right next to them,” referring to the group of adults involved in the confrontation.
The footage depicted a man with white hair engaged in a struggle with another individual. In the background, other attendees were observed exchanging punches and pushing one another.
The event elicited humorous responses from various social media users. One individual remarked, “Those mothers must have indulged in excessive wine,” while another commented, “This certainly places you on the Naughty list! Unacceptable!”
