Marco, characterized by its unyielding violent sequences, has earned the distinction of being the most violent film in the Malayalam film industry. This film, featuring Unni Mukundan and directed by Haneef Adeni, marked the inaugural project of Shareef Muhammed's Cubes Entertainments. Recently, Shareef Muhammed has unveiled plans for his next production, which promises to be an exhilarating cinematic experience. Here are the details we have regarding this latest development.

Marco producer’s next project announced 

Shareef Muhammed recently took to Instagram to announce the second production under his banner, Cubes Entertainments. This forthcoming project will be directed by newcomer Paul George. While the creators hinted at a "journey of something exciting," specific details remain undisclosed.

The accompanying poster featured the silhouette of an individual holding a rifle, and its red tones suggest that the film may delve into darker themes or action. The poster also included the phrase "Hunting soon" towards the bottom.

Antony Varghese to play lead role?

Although the lead actor and other casting details have yet to be disclosed, there is speculation that Antony Varghese may take on the protagonist role. In a previous exclusive interview with OTTplay, Antony indicated that he has a forthcoming project with the producer of Marco, which will be directed by a friend of his.

However, this has not been officially confirmed by the production team. Antony has also refrained from stating whether his upcoming project will be the second production from Cubes Entertainments, leaving fans awaiting an official announcement.

Additionally, Shareef Muhammed has mentioned ongoing discussions with Mammootty regarding a potential project, although no confirmations have been made.

In the meantime, Antony Varghese's latest film, Daveed, premiered in theaters on February 14, 2025, receiving mixed to positive reviews.

Marco on OTT

Conversely, Marco became available for streaming on Sony Liv on February 13, 2025. The film, featuring Unni Mukundan in the lead role, tells a revenge story as Marco embarks on a quest to avenge the murder of his foster brother, Victor.

Siddique and Ishaan Shoukath portray the roles of Marco's foster brothers in this action thriller, which features Jagadish, Abhimanyu Thilakan, and Kabir Duhan Singh as the formidable antagonists.
