The success of Manasi Sinha’s debut feature film Eta Amader Golpo has stunned everyone. The film became a sleeper hit. Recently, Manasi announced her next film 5 Nombor Swapnamoy Lane. She called for an audition recently. The post shared by Manasi stated that any actor or actress aged between five and 70 can join the audition. Manasi posted this and wrote in the caption ‘Come if you wish.’ But then she was bombarded with questions. 

In that post, two actresses talked about their bitter experiences with auditions. Manasi replied with another post and cleared her to stand. She wrote, “Many people are personally questioning me after I shared the audition-related post by Dhaga Production. It is not possible to personally reply to all the questions. Hence I am posting this. Firstly, there is no question of monetary transaction for this audition. This is for those who are asking me these questions. You don’t have to pay money.” 

There were complaints that people auditioned but did not get work. Manasi wrote, “Some people are complaining that there were auditions previously under this banner but now work was given. Let me tell them that the film for which the audition was taken was not made under this banner and hence Dhaga Production could not give them work. My film Eta Amader Golpo was made under Dhaga Production’s banner. But when it started, Dhaga Production was not involved, and hence they could not make any decision regarding the casting.”

Manasi also made it clear that this audition was not for her next film. “This audition is not for my second film 5 Nombor Swapnamoy Lane. We want to make a healthy banking. We want to give scopes to those who act good but don’t get calls for want of connection. Those who think that this is a fraud case like other auditions, please don’t come. There is no obligation. Those who want to believe, please come. Keep well. Goodbye,” she signed off.
