Malayalam blockbuster Manjummel Boys represents India at Russia's KinoBravo Film Festival

Manjummel Boys, the hit Malayalam film which released earlier this year, is all set to represent India at KinoBravo International Mainstream Film Festival, which will be held in Sochi, Russia from September 28 to October 4.

The Malayalam film will be having a red-carpet screening on September 30 followed by a festival screening on October 1. It is to be noted that Manjummel Boys will be the first Malayalam film to be featured in the festival.

Manjummel Boys is 2024 Malayalam survival thriller drama which is based on true incidents. The film is written and directed by Chidambaram, and stars actors Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi S. Poduval, Lal Jr., Deepak Parambol, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Arun Kurian, Khalid Rahman and Shebin Benson among others. Soubin Shahir, Babu Shahir and Shawn Antony produced the film under the banner Parava Films.

The Malayalam film, which became one of the top grossers of Malayalam film industry, will represent India at KinoBravo International Mainstream Film Festival. It is held in Sochi, Russia from September 28 to October 4. A red-carpet screening has been planned on September 30, followed by a festival screening on October 1. Manjummel Boys is the first Malayalam film to be featured in the festival.


Meanwhile, All We Imagine as Light will be screened in the Out of Competition: Festival Hits list, while RRR will be screened in the Out of Competition: Blockbuster Hits category.

About KinoBravo Film Festival

KinoBravo Film Festival works with the aim to bring national blockbusters in their respective home countries and promote them at the international markets. The main selection of the festival will include 12 films.

The multinational jury panel is headed by chairman Marco Müller, a film critic, film historian, producer, head of the Center for Film Studies at Shanghai University and artistic director of the Taormina International Film Festival, and former director of film festivals in Locarno, Rotterdam, Pesaro, Turin, Venice, and Rome.
