Malavika Mohanan, known for her roles in Petta and Thangalaan, is making waves in Malayalam cinema with her latest project, Hridayapoorvam. This marks her first collaboration with the legendary Mohanlal and the esteemed director Sathyan Anthikkad. The actress, who is also set to appear alongside Rebel Star Prabhas in Raja Saab, has just wrapped up the first schedule of Hridayapoorvam, describing the past month as an incredibly rewarding experience.

After finishing the first schedule of Hridayapoorvam, she shared a lengthy post on social media, featuring behind-the-scenes photos with Mohanlal, Sathyan, and the rest of the cast and crew. In her post, she expressed how fortunate she felt to work alongside such talented individuals in an environment that felt like family. She described the experience as “beautiful, warm, wholesome, and heartwarming.”

Malavika also mentioned, “I learned so much from the legends, Mohanlal sir and Sathyan sir. Just being around them, having their guidance, and witnessing how they create cinematic magic with such dignity, respect, and grace was incredible.” While reflecting on the chilly evenings surrounded by the stunning hills and tea estates of Thekkady, she gave a special shout-out to Sathyan’s direction team, calling them the sweetest group of assistant directors, emphasizing that Hridayapoorvam wouldn’t be the same without them.

Hridayapoorvam marks the first time in ten years that director Sathyan has teamed up with Mohanlal, their last project being 2015's Ennum Eppozhum. This duo has previously collaborated on several films, including Sanmanassullavarkku Samadhanam, Gandhinagar 2nd Street, T. P. Balagopalan M.A., Nadodikkatu, Pattana Pravesham, Varavelpu, Pingami, Rasathanthram, Innathe Chintha Vishayam, and Snehaveedu, to name a few.

Details about Hridayapoorvam are still under wraps, but considering the director's style, it's anticipated to be a delightful family film. The story is penned by Sathyan's son, Akhil Sathyan, while the screenplay is crafted by newcomer TP Sonu.
