Malaika Arora shares her thoughts
In a chat with Curly Tales, Malaika emphasized the importance of women keeping their financial independence by managing their own finances separately from their partner's after tying the knot.
“Stay independent, you know? What’s yours is yours, and what’s mine is mine. When you get married or are in a relationship, it’s easy to blend everything together. But I really believe it’s essential to maintain your own identity,” she explained.
She also mentioned, “It’s great to do things as a couple, but that doesn’t mean you should lose your entire sense of self and adopt someone else’s. You’re already taking on a new last name, right? So at the very least, keep your own bank account intact.”
