Mahesh Babu and his daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni appeared in a fresh ad for a jewelry brand. In the Instagram post, Mahesh shares the story behind his daughter's name.

The PMJ ad kicks off with Mahesh strolling down a path lined with photos of him and Sitara. He shares, 'When a daughter arrives, it's said that Mahalakshmi has graced your home. The moment we saw the twinkle in her eyes, we decided to name her Sitara.' The ad wraps up with Mahesh expressing his love for Sitara while joking about how 'gorgeous' he looks, and affectionately referring to her as his 'princess.'

Namrata Shirodkar, Mahesh's wife, dropped a bunch of heart-eyes and heart emojis on the video. One fan said, 'This is great, the father-daughter bond is super cute.' Another fan joked, 'Dude, are you 49 or 19?' Others playfully asked which college he was attending, saying, 'Which college are you in, dude?' Mahesh and Sitara just teamed up for another ad for Reliance Trends, where she schooled him on Gen Z slang.

ED calls in Mahesh Babu

On Tuesday, it was reported that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has called Mahesh Babu in for questioning on April 28. This is part of an investigation into alleged money laundering involving two real estate companies from Hyderabad that are accused of scamming homebuyers. Mahesh is the brand ambassador for one of these companies and even filmed a commercial with Namrata, Gautam, and Sitara a few years back. Right now, he's busy filming SS Rajamouli’s upcoming project, SSMB 29, alongside Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
