Actors Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar were united in marriage in Hyderabad on February 10, 2005, after developing a romantic relationship during the filming of the 2000 movie Vamsi. Now, with two children and two decades of marriage, it appears that their affection for one another has only intensified, as evidenced by Mahesh’s heartfelt anniversary tribute to Namrata.

Mahesh shared a delightful photograph of himself and Namrata, capturing a spontaneous moment filled with laughter. He captioned the image, “You, me and 20 beautiful years…To forever with you NSG (heart emojis).”

Sonali Bendre, who collaborated with Mahesh in the 2001 film Murari, expressed her sentiments under the post using champagne glasses, rainbow, hearts, and sparkle emojis. Twinkle Khanna also shared her thoughts with heart emojis, while Viranica, the wife of Vishnu Manchu, conveyed her wishes by stating, “Happiest anniversary to both of you (heart emojis) stay blessed always. Here’s to celebrating a lifetime filled with love and joy.”

Shilpa Shirodkar refers to Mahesh as an ‘incredible husband.’ Namrata’s sister, actress Shilpa Shirodkar, who recently made an appearance on Bigg Boss 18, shared a photograph of the couple during one of their vacations. She described them as the ‘most adorable couple’ she knows, stating, “Every moment I witness between you two exemplifies the true essence of friendship, companionship, and pure love. The warmth you both bring to your beautiful relationship makes it even more extraordinary.”

She referred to Mahesh as an 'extraordinary husband' and conveyed her joy regarding Namrata discovering her 'soulmate', stating, “Two decades ago, my Chin found her soulmate. Chintukli, you are an amazing and supportive wife, and Mahesh, you are an extraordinary husband; it was destined for you both to nurture such a delightful family!” She concluded her message by wishing them 'happiness, laughter, and love'.

In recent developments, Mahesh was last featured in Trivikram Srinivas’ 2024 Sankranthi release, Guntur Kaaram, alongside co-stars Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj, Sreeleela, and Meenakshi Chaudhary. He is currently filming for SS Rajamouli’s upcoming project, tentatively titled SSMB 29, with Priyanka Chopra, rumoured to be his co-star. The production team has yet to disclose any information regarding the cast and crew.
