Actor Madhuri Dixit has expressed her views on who might be able to capture the essence of her legendary song Ek Do Teen if it were to be remade. She confidently believes that Rasha Thadani could breathe fresh energy into this classic hit.
Madhuri picks Rasha to take her place
Raveena Tandon's daughter, Rasha, made her acting debut in the film Azaad, sharing the screen with Aaman Devgan. She received a lot of praise for her performance, especially for her dance number, Uyi Amma, which really took off on social media.
Recently, at the IIFA Green Carpet event, Madhuri Dixit spoke highly of Rasha, saying, "Among the youngest talents, I really like Rasha Thadani. Her dancing is so graceful."
When asked who she thinks could do justice to her classic song Ek Do Teen if it were remade today, Madhuri immediately mentioned Rasha.
Ek Do Teen originally appeared in the 1988 film Tezaab, which marked a significant turning point in Madhuri's career. Anil Kapoor starred alongside her in this movie, which was produced and directed by N Chandra, with music by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. The song was later remade for Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 2, featuring Jacqueline Fernandez and sung by Shreya Ghoshal. It was also recreated for Ameesha Patel's Desi Magic, with both versions released in 2018.
Rasha's work overview
Raveena's daughter, Rasha, made her Bollywood debut this year with the film Azaad.
