Madhur Bhandarkar, the National Award-winning filmmaker has delivered realities of Bollywood through his films like Fashion, Page 3, Chandni Bar, and Heroine. He is now gearing up for his next movie titled 'Wives Of Bollywood', which is set to tell another explosive story, this time from the glamourous and unseen world of Bollywood. The story of the film will follow the Bollywood wives of the stars of the Hindi film industry.
Madhur Bhandarkar announces his next - Wives Of Bollywood
According to the reports, Wives Of Bollywood will shed light on the unseen and unknown side of the glamourous lives that is led by the Bollywood star's wives. Just like Madhur Bhandarkar's other films, the film promises to be layered with gossip, scandals, and luxury.
Talking about the film, Madhur Bhandarkar said, “There is a lot of speculation around the lives of Bollywood star wives, the aim is to bring these untold stories inspired by real incidents, on big screen”. The film will be bankrolled by Bhandarkar Entertainment and P J Motion Pictures. It is expected to go on floors early next year.
Producer Pranav Jain said, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Madhur sir once again after the success of India Lockdown. He has a reputation for creating authentic films, and this topic promises to be explosive, given the intrigue surrounding the lives of celebrity wives at home and in social settings”.
It is to be noted that the Netflix show Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives is also based on the same subject but it is mostly about just four Btwon connected ladies including Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Pandey, and Seema Sajdeh. Besides stories around the glamour world, Madhur Bhandarkar is also known for delivering a film based on the real incidents of the COVID-19 pandemic times. The film was titled India Lockdown and featured Shweta Basu Prasad, Aahana Kumra, Prateik Babbar, Sai Tamhankar, and Prakash Belawadi. It depicted the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic on the people of India. It was produced by Jayantilal Gada of PEN Studios, Madhur Bhandarkar’s Bhandarkar Entertainment and Pranav Jain’s P J Motions Pictures.
