Gear up for a unique love-comedy film, starring R. Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead roles. Directed by Vivek Soni, the film has begun shooting and will soon land on Netflix. Earlier reports suggested that the film is tentatively titled Tharki. However, the latest report mentioned that the film has a different title.

Bollywood Hungama reported that the film, starring Fatima Sana Shaikh and R. Madhavan, is tentatively titled Aap Jaisa Koi and not Tharki. The source mentioned, "The film is not called Tharki. The title is Aap Jaisa Koi. It goes well with the plot of the film and also has a nostalgic vibe to it, as it reminds of the classic song of the same name from Qurbani (1980).”

Mid-Day recently revealed the plot of the upcoming film. In the film, Madhavan's character takes the help of a dating app to meet a young woman. Their romance gives off a May-December vibe.
Revealing the details of the plot, the report further mentioned that Madhavan plays a virgin, who is in his mid-40s. "He comes across Fatima’s character, a woman in her early 30s, on a dating app, and how the two fall in love forms the crux of the story. It’s a quirky and contemporary take on the relationship," the source added.
As per reports, Karan Wahi makes a cameo appearance in the film, and the cast also features Namit Das, who portrays the protagonist's close friend. The team will travel to Kolkata in December after filming in Mumbai in early November.

R Madhavan also shot for De De Pyaar De 2, co-starring his Shaitaan co-star Ajay Devgn. Pinkvilla reported that Tanu Weds Manu 3 is in progress and Kangana Ranaut will be seen in triple roles opposite Madhavan.
Meanwhile, Fatima Sana Shaikh will be seen in the multi-starrer Metro…In Dino, directed by Anurag Basu. It also stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan.
