Actor Mugdha Chaphekar, known for her role in Kumkum Bhagya, and her husband, fellow actor Ravish Desai, have shared the news of their separation after nine years of marriage on social media. They disclosed that they have been living separately for more than a year and have come to a mutual decision to go their separate ways.

On Saturday, Ravish posted on Instagram, saying, “After a lot of reflection, Mugdha and I have chosen to separate as a couple and follow our individual paths. It’s been over a year, and we’ve shared a wonderful journey filled with love, friendship, and respect, which will always remain. Please disregard any false rumors or claims. We appreciate your love and support.” He also disabled comments on the post.

Mugdha and Ravish first crossed paths in 2014 while filming their show Satrangi Sasural, where their on-screen chemistry quickly turned into a genuine romance. They got engaged in January 2016 and celebrated their love with a beautiful wedding in Mumbai in December of the same year.

Mugdha is a TV actress who kicked off her career as a child artist in the film Aazmayish. However, she truly became a household name for her portrayal of Prachi Mehra Kohli in the popular show Kumkum Bhagya.

He debuted on TV in the lead role of Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi – Meri Bhabhi and later appeared in shows like Satrangi Sasural, Kunwara Hai Par Hamara Hai, and Yeh Hai Aashiqui. His work extends to several OTT series, including Amazon Prime Video’s Made In Heaven, where he acted alongside Shweta Tripathi, as well as She (season 2) and the acclaimed series Scoop by Hansal Mehta, featuring Karishma Tanna, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Harman Baweja.
