MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina joined Rishabh Pant as they showcased their dance moves during the wedding celebration of Pant's sister, Sakshi, in Mussoorie on Tuesday evening. Pant, a member of the Indian squad that triumphed in the Champions Trophy against New Zealand, arrived directly from Dubai on Monday to participate in the festivities. He engaged in the mehendi, sangeet, and Haldi ceremonies.

Sakshi shared moments from the celebrations through photos and videos on her Instagram stories. She is scheduled to marry her long-time partner, Ankit Choudhary, on Wednesday.

On January 6 of the previous year, Sakshi announced her engagement to Ankit on Instagram, including a caption with the hashtag "Nine years and still counting," which highlighted their nine-year relationship.

Former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni, accompanied by his wife Sakshi, reached Mussoorie on Tuesday evening. 

Footage featuring family and friends partaking in various wedding ceremonies has gained significant attention online. In one particular video, Dhoni, along with Raina and Pant, is seen dancing freely to the popular Bollywood track "dama dam mast kalandar."

The renowned cricketer was observed leaping and dancing alongside his longtime companion Raina. They also executed the "burrraaahh" move together.

Pant and Dhoni to square off in IPL 2025

Rishabh Pant, who did not participate in any matches during the Champions Trophy due to KL Rahul being the preferred keeper-batter, will rejoin his team, Lucknow Super Giants, following the conclusion of the wedding ceremonies. Pant is expected to captain LSG in the IPL 2025 season, which is set to commence on March 22. He will be tasked with elevating the franchise's performance alongside head coach Justin Langer and cricket directors Zaheer Khan.

Conversely, MS Dhoni has reported to the Chennai Super Kings camp in preparation for the forthcoming edition of the lucrative league. He aims to secure his sixth title under the captaincy of Ruturaj Gaikwad. CSK will kick off their campaign against their long-standing rivals, the Mumbai Indians, at their home venue in Chepauk.

The question of whether this IPL season will mark Dhoni's final appearance with the Chennai Super Kings remains unanswered. Since his retirement from international cricket in 2020, there has been ongoing speculation regarding when the iconic player will conclude his illustrious IPL career, during which he has led his team to five championship victories.

Ahead of the 2025 season, CSK has retained Dhoni as an uncapped player for ₹4 crore. The IPL implemented a new regulation prior to last year's auction, permitting franchises to retain players in the uncapped category if they have not participated in international cricket for five years.
