A new advertisement for EMotorad features Indian cricketer MS Dhoni collaborating with filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga to humorously reinterpret elements from Vanga’s successful 2023 film, Animal. In this amusing commercial, Dhoni playfully critiques Sandeep’s creative decisions while embodying the intense character of Ranvijay Singh, portrayed by Ranbir Kapoor.

Whether viewed positively or negatively, Sandeep’s Animal has become ingrained in popular culture, and the advertisement cleverly capitalizes on this. Sandeep humorously acknowledges the exaggerated nature of his film when, after Dhoni steps out of his luxurious vehicle and crosses the street with an e-cycle instead of a weapon, he exclaims, “Mind-blowing, fantastic, maza aa gaya sir. (I enjoyed it. People will whistle)”

In response, Dhoni delivers Ranbir’s iconic line, “Sunayi de raha hai mujhe, behra nahi hoon main. (I can hear you, I’m not deaf),” to which Sandeep enthusiastically replies, “Ab hua na mera hero ready. (Now my hero is ready).” At one point, Dhoni questions Sandeep, “Ye thoda zyada nahi hogaya? (Isn’t this too much?)” but the director assures him that he intends to escalate the drama further. The advertisement concludes with Dhoni mimicking Ranbir’s climactic scene from the film, accompanied by a title card stating ‘The film with Sandeep Reddy Vanga.’

Internet says ‘trophy trophy trophy’

Sandeep and the e-cycle brand shared the advertisement on their X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram accounts, captioning it, “Animal for a Reason.” Responses varied from “Oh my god! Absolute fire.” to “Dhoni WTF,” across both platforms. Fans expressed their excitement, with one commenting, “Thala in Animal mode.” Another fan humorously suggested, “Animal ft. Dhoni where he says Trophy Trophy Trophy instead of Papa Papa Papa.”

One user on X exclaimed, “You must see this,” while sharing the advertisement accompanied by crying emojis. Another commented, “Thala × Sandeep Reddy Vanga = Explosion. What a remarkable individual.” Some fans described the advertisement as a ‘hit,’ while others felt that Sandeep had truly excelled. One individual noted, “The new advertisement featuring Dhoni just before the IPL creates the perfect atmosphere for the tournament.” Another user expressed enthusiasm, stating, “This is the unexpected crossover we didn’t see coming. It’s impressive, not going to lie.”

As reported by Sacnilk, Sandeep’s film Animal has grossed ₹915 crore globally. He is currently directing Prabhas in a police drama titled Spirit.
