After the kiss and her current behaviour, Seung-hyo is left confused. He asks her straight-up what is he if not her boyfriend. To that, Seok-ryu hesitantly agrees. "I suppose you are," she tells Seung-hyo. She has not heard the word since a long time, and after seeing Seung-hyo as her childhood friend for the longest time, she now feels weird after hearing him call himself her boyfriend. A proposal came about in the previous episode of Love Next Door. While Seung-hyo had already confessed his feelings towards Seok-ryu, this time she also reciprocated. Feeling lost without him, Seok-ryu chose Seung-hyo and kissed him in the middle of the sunflower field. Thus, with that, the childhood friends acted upon their feelings and officially became a couple.
