Lisa Ray took to her X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday to call out an airline service for denying the medical waiver for her ailing father. The actor slammed Air India and noted that she submitted all the required documents from the doctor and yet the waiver was denied.
What Lisa said
Lisa expressed her frustration, stating, “Once again, @airindia. My father, who is 92 years old and in poor health, requires me to cancel my travel plans. I submitted a doctor's letter, yet my waiver request was denied. How can this be? Where is the compassion from an airline that professes to care for its passengers?”
She obtained a reply from Air India's X account, following which she provided a screenshot regarding the medical emergency. The screenshot indicated that the booking website did not offer a medical waiver. Additionally, it contained information about Lisa's father's hospitalization.
