Ajith Kumar balances his extensive acting career with his challenging role in Formula 1, while his nine-year-old son appears to be emulating his father's path. Aadvik Kumar has secured several medals in athletics at the sports events held at his school in Chennai.

Ajith's son dominates the race

On Wednesday, Shalini Ajith, the wife of actor Ajith Kumar and a former actress herself, shared a video on her Instagram account showcasing their son Aadvik as he sprinted ahead of his peers on the athletics track at school. In her caption, she included a selection of emojis representing sparkle, celebration, and a white heart. The video also captured her enthusiastic cheers for Aadvik as he triumphed in the race.

The online community expressed admiration for Aadvik's athletic prowess, drawing comparisons to his father's abilities. One Instagram user remarked, “Super star (red heart emoji).” Another commented, “Kutty AK (red heart and cat with heart eyes emojis).” Many users succinctly noted, “Like father, like son!” One user illustrated this sentiment by sharing a GIF featuring Mufasa and his cub Simba from Disney's iconic 1994 animated film, The Lion King.

Another comment read, “No DNA test required! Congrats champ!” A user added, “Ajith sir conquered the race track, and now his son is ruling the athletic field. It seems that racing is in their blood – true kings of speed! (racing flag and fire emojis).”

Ajith's recent achievements

On the eve of Republic Day, the Indian government announced the conferral of the Padma Bhushan, the nation's third-highest civilian award, upon Ajith. He made his acting debut in 1993 with the film Amaravathi. Some of his notable blockbuster movies include Vaalee, Mugavari, Mankatha, and Yennai Arindhaalankatha. Ajith's upcoming project in the acting domain is Vidaamuyarchi.

In addition to his acting career, Ajith is a passionate sports enthusiast with a remarkable background in motorsports. He has participated in various prestigious competitions, including the Asian Formula BMW Championship, the British Formula 3 Championship, and the FIA Formula 2 Championship. Ajith's racing journey began with motorcycle racing, where he competed in the National Motorcycle Racing Championship. Furthermore, he established his racing team, Ajith Kumar Racing, which he launched in September of the previous year.
