Motorsports has been a fervent interest for Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar for over twenty years. Although his acting career has long been his primary focus, he has now reached a point where he is able to dedicate significant time to both pursuits. Recently, he stated that racing will occupy his attention for six months each year. In a conversation with Gulf News during his latest race in Dubai, Ajith expressed that motorsports and travel serve as his sources of inspiration, which is why he encourages his children to explore the world and engage in various sports.

"Traveling allows you to encounter individuals from diverse backgrounds, enriching your understanding of different cultures. It fosters empathy towards others. There is a well-known saying that religion can breed animosity towards those we have never met, and this resonates deeply. We often form judgments about people, nations, and ethnicities before even having an interaction. It is akin to being a frog confined to a well. Through travel, one comes to realize both their own insignificance and the vastness of the world," Ajith remarked.

Ajith: One needs to be cautious with success

The superstar holds a strong conviction that sports impart valuable lessons on managing both success and failure with dignity, revealing an individual's true character. "Failure provides greater insights than success. During challenging times, we become more prudent in our decision-making. It is in moments of success that one must exercise caution. Success resembles a wild horse; it allows anyone to mount it, but if one fails to control it, it will unceremoniously cast them off and await the next rider," Ajith remarked, emphasizing that sports enhance this understanding.

On the film front, Ajth’s Vidaamuyarchi was expected to be the big Pongal release, but it was postponed indefinitely, with no new date in sight. Good Bad Ugly is a set for an April theatrical outing.
