Leonardo DiCaprio, who has gained a reputation for dating women under the age of 25, has recently made headlines with what is being referred to as "Leo's Law," or the under-25 rule, by maintaining his relationship with Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, who is approaching her 27th birthday.

Throughout the years, DiCaprio's romantic history has consistently adhered to the 'under-25' pattern. His relationship with Bar Refaeli lasted until 2010, coinciding with her 25th birthday.

In a similar vein, his romance with Kelly Rohrbach concluded in 2015, right as she turned 25.

Another former partner, Nina Agdal, was involved with the actor from 2016 to 2017, which also marked the year she turned 25.

DiCaprio's unwritten rule of only dating women under 25

The involvement of the Catch Me if You Can star with the 26-year-old model has altered the previous narrative surrounding his relationships. Ceretti, who was formerly married to Italian-American DJ Matteo Milleri, reportedly does not feel any urgency to remarry.

According to a source close to the couple, “In past relationships, he experienced pressure to formalize things with discussions of marriage, but there is no rush to alter their current dynamic.”

“She is the most genuine girlfriend he has ever had, and she makes him feel truly loved. It is evident that they both value their relationship. She understands that his schedule may fluctuate, and she never exhibits jealousy.”

Despite being one of Hollywood's most prominent actors and often found in the company of women on film sets or luxury yachts, “Vittoria enjoys being Leo's closest friend,” and their connection remains strong.

“He greatly values this aspect, as it is essential for him to maintain his own life alongside his relationship with Vittoria, who also has the freedom to focus on her own successful career. Their arrangement works well, and friends believe she could be the one for him, as she does not pressure him into marriage,” the insider emphasized.

DiCaprio has previously addressed the topic of marriage

In a 2016 interview with Parade magazine, he remarked, “Marriage is unpredictable. It cannot be planned; it will occur when the time is right.” 

Additionally, Page Six reported a source stating, “Leo does not envision himself getting married” and “is content with his current relationship with Ceretti.” 

“Leo believes that formalizing their relationship through marriage is unnecessary.”
