Attorney Tony Buzbee has addressed Kanye West's recent calls for President Donald Trump to take action and secure the release of Sean 'Diddy' Combs. The founder of Bad Boy Records has been detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since his arrest in September, where he is currently awaiting trial on grave charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation for prostitution.

Recently, West publicly expressed his support for Diddy on X, referring to him as his “hero.” In response to the rapper's social media outburst, the lawyer representing Diddy's accuser, Buzbee, asserted that the disgraced mogul should “absolutely not” be granted release from prison.

Tyrone Blackburn, the attorney for Diddy’s former producer Rodney Jones and several other accusers, criticized West’s appeal, labelling it a “foolhardy request.” In an interview with TMZ, he conveyed his disapproval of West’s call for Trump to intervene and facilitate Diddy’s release, underscoring that such an action was inappropriate given the serious nature of the charges against the mogul, as reported by The Mirror US. Additionally, West hinted at the upcoming launch of a clothing line intended to generate funds to support Diddy.

West’s request to Trump to free Diddy

In a series of social media posts, West urged Trump to release his "brother Puff" from MDC. In one tweet, he stated, "FREE PUFF," and in another, he mentioned, "@Yeezy.com I am selling the Sean John collaboration that my brother and I discussed prior to his incarceration, and we will split the profits equally."

However, he later amended his statements upon realizing that Diddy "is not permitted to earn or receive money while incarcerated." He subsequently indicated that he would forward the music mogul's share of the profits to his son, Justin Combs.
