The tension in Mumbai is palpable after one of the most shocking crimes in recent memory occurred just days ago. Baba Siddique was murdered by three shooters, allegedly hired by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, in the bustling lanes of Bandra during a festival. Investigations suggest that the roots of this attack are connected to Siddique's enmity with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. This morning, a significant development has emerged regarding the April 2024 shooting incident, where gunmen fired multiple rounds at Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. According to the latest update, the Mumbai Police have arrested Sukkha in Haryana in connection with the firing incident outside Salman’s residence.
Mumbai Police Arrest Another Suspect in Connection to Firing Outside Salman Khan’s Home
As per IANS, the Mumbai Police, in collaboration with local authorities, apprehended Sukkha in Panipat Sector 9, Haryana. Sukkha is reportedly an alleged shooter for the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and a resident of Rail Kalan village. He is accused of being involved in the firing incident that took place outside Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence. The police have confirmed that Sukkha will be produced in court on Thursday after being brought to Navi Mumbai for further investigation.
Back in June, police uncovered a plot to target Salman Khan during his trips to his farmhouse in Panvel, Navi Mumbai. This revelation came shortly after the April firing incident. In his statement, Salman Khan claimed that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang carried out the attack with the intent to kill him and his family members. It is believed that Bishnoi has employed a network of 60-70 men to monitor Salman Khan's movements, conducting surveillance of his residence, farmhouse, film sets, and other locations he frequents.
What Happened in April 2024?
On April 14, 2024, two unidentified men, allegedly commissioned by Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi, opened fire outside Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments, in Mumbai. The incident sent shockwaves across the country, as a highly influential star’s home was targeted so brazenly. The Mumbai Police quickly launched an investigation and acted swiftly in devising a plan to apprehend those responsible.
Later, Anmol Bishnoi took responsibility for the attack in a social media post, stating: "Salman Khan, do not take us lightly. This firing incident was just a trailer, so that you understand our strength. This is the first and last warning. After this, the firing will happen at your home."
Anmol further added:"You consider Dawood Ibrahim and Chota Shakeel as divine. However, we have two pet dogs named after these two persons. I am not in the habit of speaking much. Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat. (Lawrence Bishnoi group) Goldy Brar, Rohit Godara, Kala Jatheri."
The situation remains tense as the investigation continues, with authorities taking necessary precautions to prevent further incidents. Stay tuned to Mobile Masala for more updates on this case and other developments in the world of streaming and films.
