Actor Dhanush is in Delhi right now filming his new Hindi movie, Tere Ishk Mein, under the direction of Aanand L Rai. Social media is buzzing with photos and videos of him dashing around Sri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC).

Students on campus captured some cool pictures and videos while Dhanush was filming, and they ended up online. One shot shows him sprinting through a crowd, with extras nearby watching him. Fans quickly shared the pic on X (formerly Twitter), joking that the 41-year-old actor doesn’t need any de-aging to play a college student.

A different video, apparently filmed by a student, describes the moment of seeing Dhanush on the SRCC campus as a ‘fan girl moment.’ This clip features a mix of scenes, including one where the actor steps out of his caravan. There's also a part where he’s gearing up to sprint as the director shouts action. The visuals in the leaked footage suggest that the scene takes place during college elections, with Dhanush's character, Shankar Gurrukkal, likely playing a student leader.

About Tere Ishk Mein

Aanand and Dhanush have teamed up before on the 2013 movie Raanjhanaa and the 2021 flick Atrangi Re. When discussing the thematic connections between Raanjhanaa and Tere Ishk Mein, Aanand shared with PTI, “It’s set in the same universe as Raanjhanaa, but it’s not a sequel. When I mention the world of Raanjhanaa, I mean I’m tapping into the emotions that were present in that film.”

He added, “Both stories are tragedies filled with anger and passion. Love stories have many layers; they’re not just about a simple man-woman dynamic. That’s why I refer to it as being from the world of Raanjhanaa, as it encompasses those elements. However, they are distinct narratives.” Kriti Sanon stars as Mukti in this upcoming film, which is set to release later this year.

In addition to this project, Dhanush is currently filming Kubera with Sekhar Kammula in Telugu and is also directing Idly Kadai in Tamil, along with another untitled film with Rajkumar Periyasamy.
