Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actor Vikas Sethi's untimely demise sent shockwaves across the television industry. The actor, best known for his shows Kahiin Toh Hoga and Sasural Simar Ka, passed away at the age of 48. Vikas suffered a cardiac arrest in sleep and breathed his last in Nashik. Now, the late actor's wife Jhanvi Sethi has revealed her husband was sick while they were travelling to Nashik. However, he was reluctant to seek medical attention.

Jhanvi Sethi recalls husband Vikas Sethi's last moments

Jhanvi Sethi told PTI that she and Vikas were traveling to Nashik for a family function when the actor experienced some health issues. After the duo reached Jhanvi's mother's house in Nashik, "he had vomiting and loose motions," revealed Sethi's wife.

Jhanvi further said, "He didn't want to go to the hospital so we asked the doctor to come home. When I went to wake him up at around 6 am in the morning (on Sunday), he was no more. The doctor there told us he passed away last night (on Saturday) in his sleep due to cardiac arrest."

For those who are unaware, Vikas got married to Jhanvi in 2021 and welcomed their twin children The television actor was earlier married to Amita, with whom he participated in Nach Baliye season 4. 

A few hours ago, Jhanvi updated everyone that Vikas' final rites would take place as per Hindu tradition on September 9. "The final rites will be carried out according to Hindu traditions on 9th September. Your presence, prayers, and support, in this trying time, would be deeply appreciated. Regards, Sethi Family (sic)," a part of her note read.

Vikas was a prominent television actor who also featured in a show called Yeh Vada Raha. Sethi is fondly remembered for playing Kareena Kapoor Khan's (Poo) date in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Apart from K3G, Vikas starred in movies like Oops, Deewaanapan, Modh and more.
