Kylie Kelce has revealed details regarding how her brother-in-law, Travis Kelce, informed his family about his relationship with Taylor Swift. In her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast on Wednesday, the 32-year-old clarified that the announcement concerning the Chiefs tight end and the artist behind "Cruel Summer" did not make its way into the group chat.

When host Alex Cooper inquired whether Kylie’s family was aware of Travis's relationship with Swift in "some capacity," Kylie responded, "We were not." The soon-to-be mother of four refrained from divulging specific details but acknowledged that she and her husband, Jason Kelce, "knew before everyone else knew."

Kylie elaborated that she and the former Philadelphia Eagles centre "found out together" when Cooper pressed further. "Jase and I discovered it together, but we were aware before they officially announced it with her attending a game," she stated, referencing the Midnights artist's inaugural appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game.

Cooper then asked, "The world saw you and Taylor meet for the first time at the Chiefs and Bills game. Was that indeed your first encounter?" To which Kylie affirmed, "Yes," and reminisced about the "silly" anecdotes surrounding her initial meeting with the 35-year-old singer.

Leading up to this meeting, there were widespread speculations that Kylie was intentionally avoiding Taylor Swift. Addressing these rumours, she remarked, "People are deeply disturbed by this. There was all this chatter before it [the meeting] about, ‘Why haven’t they met? They’re avoiding each other.’ I’m not avoiding anyone."

Kylie further stated that she was open to meeting "anybody," particularly "someone Travis is dating." She humorously noted, "It was amusing to me because I kept telling people, ‘I didn’t meet Travis for probably close to a year when Jase and I were dating.’"

"And she is busy," Kylie added, referring to Swift's record-breaking Eras tour, which spanned from March 2023 to December 2024. "It is just so silly to me that this was the narrative that emerged," she commented, reminiscing about the at-home double date she and Jason had with Swift and Travis.
