In the footage, Moore gave a quick nod to Kylie before shifting her focus back to chatting with Elle Fanning and then Timothée Chalamet, seemingly ignoring the thrilled reality star.

Kylie, 27, was spotted at the 2025 Golden Globes sitting next to her boyfriend, 29-year-old Timothée Chalamet, and they shared a table with his co-star. The couple looked super cozy, not shy about showing some adorable PDA. While Kylie chatted easily with stars like Elle Fanning and Monica Barbaro, things got a bit awkward when she interacted with Demi Moore, leading to what many online are calling an “embarrassing” moment.

After winning Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her role in The Substance, Moore swung by Jenner’s table to celebrate. As Elle congratulated her, Kylie tried to jump in with a loud “Congrats!” But Demi just gave her a quick “thank you” before turning back to Elle and continuing her chat with Timothée, leaving Kylie out of the loop.

Meanwhile, the Kardashians star pulled out her phone as Moore walked away. One user on X remarked, “That was so messed up.” Another added, “This was so painful to watch. Demi said you can’t sit with us, Kylie." A third person commented, “Omg, this actually made me sad. She had her phone out and everything, probably wanted to take a selfie... I don’t know, maybe I’m being too emotional, but that was really sad.”

On the flip side, some defended Demi’s reaction, saying, "If you look closely, she does glance at Kylie before turning back to Elle. There’s no way she was actually ignoring her." Another pointed out, “Kim and Demi are friends, and Kylie did spend the holidays with Demi. There’s nothing crazy here, let’s not blow this out of proportion.”

Demi Moore takes home her first Golden Globe award

After an impressive career spanning decades in Hollywood, the talented Moore, 62, finally snagged her first Golden Globe award. She was up against some heavyweights like Amy Adams (Nightbitch), Cynthia Erivo (Wicked), Karla Sofía Gascón (Emilia Pérez), Mikey Madison (Anora), and Zendaya (The Challengers). This win was not only her first but also marked her third nomination for the Golden Globe.

“I honestly didn’t see this coming. I’m just completely blown away! I’ve been in this game for over 45 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever won anything for acting. I feel so humbled and grateful,” she shared during her acceptance speech.

Reflecting on her journey, Moore mentioned how, three decades ago, she was labeled the ‘popcorn actress.’ “Back then, I took that to mean I wasn’t worthy of recognition, that I could only make successful movies but wouldn’t be acknowledged for them. I let that belief sink in, and it really affected me over time.”
