Kyle Richards, 56, quickly went to support her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Teddi Mellencamp during her emergency brain surgery on Wednesday. In a recent Instagram story, Mellencamp was spotted in a hospital bed with Richards and Morgan Wade by her side. “Yup, here we go!” the host of Two T's in a Pod exclaimed in the video, asking, “How many minutes? What’s the countdown?”
As she pointed the camera at her RHOBH co-star and the 30-year-old country artist, they both waved and smiled. She was informed that she was just “10 minutes” away from her surgery. This video followed her announcement about her diagnosis, which she shared on Instagram. “For the last several weeks, I’ve been struggling with severe and debilitating headaches,” she mentioned.
“Yesterday, the pain became unbearable, and I had to go to the hospital. After a CT scan and MRI, doctors discovered multiple tumors on my brain, which they think have been growing for at least six months,” she continued, noting that two of the tumors would be surgically removed on Wednesday, while the smaller ones would be treated with radiation later on.
Mellencamp expressed her gratitude to her “children, family, friends, doctors, nurses, and surgeons who are doing everything they can to help me regain my health.” She also thanked everyone who has reached out and supported her throughout this journey.
