Himesh Reshammiya's film Badass Ravikumar premiered in theaters on February 7. In an interview with News18, actress Kriti Kulhari, a member of the cast, shared her insights regarding the experience of working on the project and collaborating with Himesh. Kriti mentioned her desire to propose alterations to certain dialogues in a scene; however, Himesh preferred to maintain the original script without any modifications.

What Kriti said about working with Himesh

In the course of the interview, Kriti remarked that she and Himesh inhabit parallel realms, questioning how their paths could ever intersect. She recalled instances where she wished to enhance certain dialogues—whether by adding, omitting, or rephrasing them—but he firmly declined her suggestions. It felt as though it was a matter of acceptance or rejection, with a clear message that agreeing to participate in the film meant adhering to his approach, or opting out entirely. It was at that juncture that she realized her commitment to the project.

‘Don’t mess with what we have’

She further remarked, “He said, ‘Do not interfere with what we have. This is the situation.’ I was not offended. I felt pleased that there is someone who understands what he is doing.”

Produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies, Badass Ravikumar is a musical action film that serves as a spin-off of the 2014 movie The Xposé and represents the second installment in The Xposé Universe. The film also features Prabhu Deva, Simona J, Saurabh Sachdeva, Sanjay Mishra, and Johnny Lever.

She garnered attention through her supporting role in Shaitaan and subsequently starred in Pink alongside Tapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan.
