Filmmaker Kiran Rao recently posted several photos on Instagram to celebrate Eid with the family of her ex-husband, actor Aamir Khan. On Monday, she shared a selfie with Aamir's former wife, Reena Dutta, but there were no pictures of Aamir included in her post.

The initial photo showcased Aamir's mom, Zeenat Hussain, beaming at the camera in a blue suit. Kiran then joined Reena and Aamir's sisters, Nikhat Hegde and Farhat Datta, for a group shot. Kiran sported a mustard suit for the event, while Reena looked lovely in a purple sharara. Nikhat chose a vibrant multicolored outfit, and Farhat wore a blue sharara. They all flashed big smiles for the camera.

Aamir and Kiran's son, Azad Rao Khan, was spotted enjoying lunch at a table. Joining him were his sister, Ira Khan, her husband Nupur Shikhare, and their mother, Pritam Shikhare, all part of the celebration. In another shot, Ashutosh Gowariker and Avinash Gowariker were chatting with other guests. The final photo captured a lovely selfie taken by Kiran, featuring her and Reena, as they leaned their heads together and smiled for the camera.

Kiran shared the post with the caption, "Eid at my mom's place - the most amazing and beautiful hostess - is all about celebrating with family, friends, and enjoying the best food! ❤️✨ We wish for peace and happiness for everyone this year..."

Kiran took to her Instagram Stories to share, "Eid Mubarak, doston (friends)! And no, Azad still won't give me a single decent picture, even on Eid." In another post, she added, "Sending peace and happiness from our families to yours." She also posted a photo of all the women in their ethnic attire, calling them "The stunning gharara gang."

How Aamir celebrated Eid

On Monday, Aamir stepped out of his home with his sons Junaid and Azad to greet fans and the media for the festive occasion. He shared a heartfelt hug with them, and the three of them looked great in matching white kurtas. Aamir also wished the paparazzi Eid Mubarak and treated them to some Kaju Katli.

Aamir was married to Reena from 1986 until 2002, and they have two kids, Ira and Junaid. He tied the knot with Kiran in 2005, but they separated in 2021, and they share a son named Azad. Right now, he’s in a relationship with Gauri Spratt.
