Actors Kiran Abbavaram and Rahasya Gorak are expecting their first child. The couple shared the happy news through a joint Instagram post, along with a picture of their baby’s ultrasound. Fans and several celebrities poured in their congratulations on the soon-to-be parents.

Kiran, Rahasya announce pregnancy

Kiran Abbavaram and Rahasya Gorak announced their pregnancy with a heartfelt Instagram post featuring three photos. Captioned, “Our love is growing by 2 feet,” the first picture captures Rahasya seated on a chair, smiling as Kiran gently cradles her baby bump. In the second photo, Rahasya is seen reading Alison Wong’s As the Earth Turns Silver while cradling her bump. The third image is a cropped shot of their baby’s ultrasound.

Actor Rukshar Dhillon commented on the post, “Big big congratulations! Blessings,” while Sravanthi Chokkarapu wrote, “Awwwww congratulations both.” Shravani Krishnavani also extended her best wishes. A fan remarked, “Manifesting this cute couple's goals.” Many others flooded the comments section with heart emojis, while some suggested removing the ultrasound picture to protect against the evil eye.

Their love story

Kiran and Rahasya, who starred together in the 2019 film Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru, fell in love and dated for several years before getting married in August 2024 in Coorg, Karnataka. The couple got engaged earlier that year in March at a resort in Hyderabad.

Following their engagement, Rahasya shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, writing, “Six years of knowing you, being best friends, falling in love, endless conversations, comforting silences, unplanned trips, the highs & lows—it has been the most beautiful journey so far. Excited to continue this journey for life with you. Thank you for always being there for me and for being mine forever.”

On the professional front, Kiran was last seen in the fantasy thriller KA, where he portrayed dual roles. Rahasya, after her appearance in the 2021 Tamil film Sarbath, is yet to announce her next project.
