Tragically, Sae-ron, who had already been subjected to cyberbullying following her DUI incident, faced backlash for posting an intimate selfie at a time when her project, Queen of Tears, was performing exceptionally well. Soo-hyun expressed that had he been honest about his relationship with Sae-ron at that time, the press conference might have been unnecessary. Nevertheless, he admitted to feeling cowardly and prioritized the protection of those who relied on him.

Additionally, Soo-hyun has demonstrated that some conversations were manipulated to suggest that he had been in a relationship with Sae-ron for more than a year.

It is worth mentioning that among various speculations, one theory suggested that Sae-ron had married a man from the United States and referred to him as her husband months prior to the discovery of her remains.

Regarding his own position, Soo-hyun has stated his intention to pursue legal action against all agencies that have been presenting new evidence. He also cautioned Sae-ron's family members to verify any evidence before making it public, as he possesses counter-evidence to challenge their claims.
