In her Instagram story, she expressed, "I am sharing this as I embark on a new chapter in my life. The agency further stated that after meeting her beloved partner, she cultivated a strong relationship founded on profound trust and affection. Following the announcement of their marriage, her fans expressed their affection on social media.

Kim Jae-Kyung made her debut as a member and leader of the girl group Rainbow, which was established by DSP Media. However, she departed from Rainbow in 2016 following the group's disbandment.
