The cast also includes notable actors such as Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Achyut Kumar, and Akshay Oberoi.

If the ₹15 crore figure is accurate, Kiara would rank just behind Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone among the highest-paid actresses in India, as both of these stars command fees exceeding ₹20 crore per film. With her role in Toxic, Kiara is surpassing more established actresses like Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, and even Kareena Kapoor.

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is a period gangster drama crafted by writer and director Geetu Mohandas. The film is being shot concurrently in both Kannada and English. According to IMDB, this captivating story, set in a historical context, unfolds in the picturesque coastal region of Goa, where a formidable drug cartel operates behind the scenes, masked by the allure of sun-drenched beaches and a lively cult.
