On September 5, Vedang Raina dropped the first look of him from the film Jigra co-starring Alia Bhatt. The poster shows Vedang with bruises and a pensive expression, while Alia hides her face and carries a heavy backpack with a hammer in one hand and ammunition in the other.
Re-sharing his post on her Instagram account, Khushi Kapoor tagged her The Archies co-star and wrote, "Ahhhhhhhhh (white hearts and clap emojis)" as she expressed her excitement for the film.

Alia Bhatt's first look from Jigra revealed
In the new poster featuring Alia, the actress looks bold and can go to any length to protect her brother Vedang in the film.
The poster shows the actress wearing a white shirt, black jeans, and a bulletproof vest holding a hammer and a sharp weapon in one hand. She is ready to take command and emerge as the hero of the story.
While sharing the poster, Alia captioned it in Hindi, "The story is very long, and my brother has very, very little time."
Jigra's teaser certified by CBFC
According to the website of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), a 2-minute, 52-second teaser of Jigra was certified on September 4, 2024. It has received the ‘UA’ rating.
Yesterday, September 4, the makers of the upcoming movie shared a video on their social media platforms. The clip shows a drawing of a boy and a girl holding hands. They are probably the characters of Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, who are siblings in the film.
In a voiceover, Alia is heard saying, “Tujhe main kuch bhi hone nahi dungi, kabhi bhi (I won't let anything happen to you, ever).” Meanwhile, the drawing shows the title of the film with “Stay Tuned!” written below it.
Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra is jointly produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions. It is scheduled to hit theaters on October 11, 2024, during the festive occasion of Dussehra.
