Actor Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the late Sridevi, made waves last year when she opened up about her cosmetic surgery, including a nose job and fillers. Now, she’s sharing more about why she chose to go public with her experience.

Khushi is set to appear in a new video for Curly Tales, with a promo dropping on Instagram this Monday, where she gets real about various topics.

In one part of the video, she shows off her home swimming pool, which is fenced off. She mentions, “We have a lot of dogs, five in total. Whenever they get out, the first thing they do is jump right into the pool.”

Khushi also shared a personal insight from her childhood, calling herself an "attention seeker" who always wanted to be in the spotlight and have everyone’s eyes on her.

When discussing her social media posts about her nose job and lip fillers, she remarked, “I don’t think it’s a big deal. People treat the word plastic like it’s the worst insult you can throw at someone.”

She reflected on her journey, saying, “Before I even entered the industry, people already had a set idea of who I am, and most of it was pretty negative.”

Khushi's revelation

Last August, Khushi opened up on Instagram after a fan commented on an old video of her. In the clip, she’s a little girl attending an event with her mom, the legendary Sridevi, right before the premiere of her first film, The Archies.

One user commented, “Honestly, Khushi looks just like she did back then. It really seems like she lost some weight,” while another added, “THANK YOU. She was 12 in this, just got braces, and then got lip fillers, and that’s about it.”

In response, Khushi said, “@archivekhushii lip filler and (nose emoji) hahaha.”

Khushi's professional journey

Khushi, the daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, is stepping into the acting world just like her mom and sister Janhvi Kapoor. She made her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, which is an Indian take on the beloved comics, playing the role of Betty Cooper in the 2023 film. Next up, she’ll star in Loveyapa alongside Junaid Khan.

Last year, Phantom Studios announced the film on their Instagram, sharing a poster that confirmed Khushi and Junaid's collaboration for this romantic drama. The movie is set to hit theaters on February 7, 2025, and is directed by Advait Chandan. It’s described as a modern romance that promises a “heartwarming story filled with memorable performances, catchy music, and stunning visuals.” It’s also said to be a remake of the popular 2022 Tamil film Love Today.
