Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of the late iconic actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, is poised to make her debut on the silver screen with the film Loveyapa, following her notable entry into the digital realm with The Archies. The young actress has quickly attracted attention for her captivating presence and recently expressed her reasons for selecting a romantic comedy as her first feature film. 

Khushi revealed that romantic comedies hold a special significance for her. "Although this is my second film, I have always been drawn to rom-coms, both in my personal life and in my viewing preferences. I enjoy sweet, light-hearted romantic films, including classic Bollywood movies, which naturally led me to a project like this," she stated. She further emphasized that the distinct nature of her character in Loveyapa played a crucial role in her decision, as it contrasts sharply with her own personality. "The character is quite different from who I am in real life, which is what attracted me to her," she remarked, alluding to the unique challenges and intricacies that the role presents for her acting debut.

Loveyapa narrates the story of a couple on the verge of marriage who decide to exchange phones for a day, only to discover hidden secrets that could significantly impact their relationship. This film is an official adaptation of the Tamil blockbuster Love Today, with Khushi's character central to this emotionally engaging yet light-hearted narrative. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Ashutosh Rana, Kiku Sharda, Grusha Kapoor, and Tanvika Parlikar, among others.

Reflecting on her experience working alongside such a talented cast, Khushi conveyed her appreciation and admiration. "The film features numerous skilled individuals, and there is so much to learn from them. Initially, I felt a bit intimidated by Ashutosh Rana Sir due to his commanding presence, but he is incredibly enjoyable to work with and continuously inspires me as an actor. The learning experience has been invaluable," she shared, highlighting the collaborative spirit of the project and the important lessons she gained on set.
