Actor Khushi Kapoor is currently focused on promoting her new movie, Loveyapa. She made her debut in 2023 with The Archies, which received a mix of reviews. Now, she’s sharing her thoughts on the Zoya Akhtar film and what changes she would have made if given the chance.

Would Khushi reconsider any part of the film looking back? “Maybe… from a marketing standpoint, it should’ve been clearer that the film was aimed at a younger crowd. I don’t really want to change anything, and I think the film was definitely meant for a younger audience. Honestly, the ones who loved it the most were those under 16. Also, I believe not everything needs to appeal to everyone,” she shared in an interview with The Indian Express.

She also mentioned, “Honestly, I have no regrets about the film. I learned so much from it. I really owe it all to Zoya, and I feel a strong bond with the film and everyone involved.” Khushi took on the role of Betty Cooper in the movie and is said to be dating her co-star Vedang Raina.

Khushi has some exciting films lined up

Loveyapa is the Hindi version of the Tamil movie Love Today (2022). Directed by Advait Chandan, it features Khushi and Junaid Khan, along with Ashutosh Rana and Kiku Sharda. The story dives into the ups and downs of modern love, focusing on how a young couple's seemingly perfect relationship falls apart when they swap phones. The movie hits theaters on February 7.

Khushi is also set to appear in Nadaaniyan, where she'll share the screen with Ibrahim Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan's son. The first track from the film, Ishq Jaisa, just dropped a few days ago. This romantic comedy is slated for release on Netflix later this year.
