Actor and politician Khushbu Sundar announced on Instagram that her X (previously known as Twitter) account has been compromised. Additionally, she disclosed that she received a WhatsApp message from the individual responsible for the hacking.

Khushbu Sundar’s hacker sends her message

Khushbu recently alerted her followers on Instagram that her X account had been compromised, rendering her unable to access it. She stated, “Hello friends, my #TWITTER @khushsundar account has been hacked. I cannot log in, as it does not recognize my ID or password. I am currently locked out. Any updates, posts, or activities on my Twitter page over the past nine hours have not been initiated by me. I am working to resolve this issue. Please bear with me and inform me if you notice any unusual activity on my TWITTER page. I hope to reconnect with you soon on Twitter. In the meantime, I am available here.”

On Saturday evening, she shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp message from the hacker, which stated, “Hi Kushbu. I hacked your Twitter account, but I don’t believe it will be of any use to us.” Along with this message, she urged authorities to take action, saying, “My office received this message from the hackers. This is the number associated with the hackers, located in the UK. I request @tncybercrimeoff to take immediate action.”

She shared another screenshot of the messages circulating from her X account, stating, “Hackers have been exploiting my X account for cryptocurrency. I am not involved in this and do not endorse it. I hope @tncybercrimeoff investigates this promptly.”

Not the first celeb whose social media gets hacked

Khushbu is not the only celebrity to experience a recent hacking of their social media account. Lakshmi Manchu recently reported that her Instagram account had been compromised, urging her followers to be cautious of any messages requesting money that may be sent from her account. Additionally, Jaaved Jaaferi's X account was hacked just a week ago. Other notable figures, such as Trisha Krishnan and Tanmay Bhat, have also faced similar issues with their accounts being hacked.
