In a recent Instagram story, the reality star posted a clip from Fox 11 LA featuring Crowley, who discussed how the mayor’s budget choices are affecting firefighting efforts in Southern California. In the video, the Chief stated, “My message is the fire department needs to be properly funded. It's not.”

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star showed her support for Crowley, saying, “I stand with you, Chief Crowley!” along with the video. She added, “You spoke the truth, and I could see the tears in your eyes because I know you didn’t want to say that, but it was THE TRUTH!!!! Thank you for being honest, @losangelesfiredepartment Chief Crowley," as reported by Daily Mail.

Khloé didn’t hold back when she called out the mayor of Los Angeles, writing, “Mayor Bass, you are a joke!!!!"

A bunch of celebrities are calling out the LA Mayor

Khloé wasn't the only one calling out the mayor during the intense fires in LA. Bass faced a lot of criticism after slashing $17.5 million from the Los Angeles Fire Department's budget for this fiscal year, according to ABC7.

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar expressed her frustration on Instagram, saying, “City of LA, you want everyone to evacuate, yet there’s total gridlock and not a single traffic cop on the roads to help.” Sarah Foster chimed in, stating, “We pay the highest taxes in California. Our fire hydrants were dry. Our vegetation was overgrown, and brush wasn’t cleared. Our reservoirs were drained by our governor because tribal leaders wanted to protect fish.” She even called for the mayor to resign in her post. James Woods, whose home was lucky enough to escape the devastating Palisades fire, also took to social media to criticize Bass.
