Christmas is a special day to the fans of Dev since December is his birthday month. Every year, his fans get a special gift from him on this day. This year, the gift is more special because he is coming back as the action hero after a long time. Dev announced on Tuesday that his film Khadaan would be released in the winter. He will be in an action avatar in the film directed by Soojit Dutta. 

The director told Anandabazar Online, “Dev announced the date and our schedule became doubly busy. The editing works are going on in full swing.” Has the shooting finished? Soojit said that some song scenes were still due, but 95% of the film had been shot. Mumbai's Kunal Ganjawala and Jubin Nautiyal's names are being heard as the singers. Soojit smiled 'Arijit Sngh's name may also be heard. In reality, the singer has not yet been decided. Hence I can't tell you anything about it yet.' 

The pre-teaser of Bohurupi, directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, was released on Wednesday. Khadaan's teaser was originally scheduled to be released on August 14. That was postponed due to the protest against the RG Kar incident and it was finally released on Thursday. Idhika Paul shared the news. Will she be in the action scenes as well? 

Reports suggested that Idhika will be seen as an aspirant girl from a middle-class family in the coal area. She will be romancing Dev. It is said that the coal areas are always heated with politics. Will Idhika's character be involved with that?

It is also rumored that Soojit Dutta is already thinking of making Khadaan 2 which will materialise the dream of Idhika’s character.
